When you contact us or request a complimentary review, we receive the details you submit: your name, work email, school or organisation, optional job title, enquiry type and message. A review request may also include your school website, current China activity and priorities. Please do not include confidential pupil information or sensitive personal details.

How we use it

We use these details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a conversation or review, and manage related correspondence. The form asks for your permission to use your information for this purpose. Submitting it does not subscribe you to a mailing list or automated marketing emails. You can withdraw your permission for further enquiry follow-up by contacting us.

Processing and storage

Enquiries submitted through the website are stored in an administrator-only area of WordPress, and an email notification is sent to our designated business inbox. This allows us to retain your enquiry even if an email notification is delayed. Our website hosting and email service providers process information as needed to operate these services. Technical records, such as IP addresses and browser information, may be processed to maintain website security and reliability.

We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, or to meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You can contact us about a particular record or ask for more information about the services processing your enquiry.

Website analytics

We use Independent Analytics to understand how our website is used and improve its content and navigation. Reports show page views, visits, referral websites, approximate locations and device types. This does not tell us a visitor’s name, email address or school.

Analytics records are stored on our website server. IP addresses are used to derive approximate location and a one-way anonymous identifier; the analytics database does not store the original IP address. The identifier is refreshed daily. We do not use these reports for advertising profiles, and we do not link them to enquiry names or email addresses.
